Duplicate existing forms

Copy forms to save time when building similar capture pages.

When to duplicate

  • Creating variations for A/B testing
  • Building forms for different campaigns with similar fields
  • Starting from a proven template
  • Adapting forms for different audiences

Steps to duplicate

  1. In the Lead Forms list, find the form to copy.
  2. Click the menu in the actions column.
  3. Select Duplicate Form.
  4. A copy appears with "(Copy)" added to the name.
  5. The duplicate starts as Draft status.

What gets copied

  • All form fields and sections
  • Field settings (labels, validation, options)
  • Form styling and branding
  • Basic form settings

What doesn't copy

  • Form responses/submissions
  • View and response statistics
  • Published status (always starts as Draft)

After duplicating

  1. Click the duplicate to open it.
  2. Change the Form Name and URL Slug.
  3. Modify fields and styling as needed.
  4. Preview to test changes.
  5. Publish when ready.

Tips

  • Rename duplicates immediately to avoid confusion.
  • Consider creating template forms specifically for duplication.
  • Test duplicate forms before publishing to ensure functionality.
