Duplicate existing forms
Copy forms to save time when building similar capture pages.
When to duplicate
- Creating variations for A/B testing
- Building forms for different campaigns with similar fields
- Starting from a proven template
- Adapting forms for different audiences
Steps to duplicate
- In the Lead Forms list, find the form to copy.
- Click the ⋮ menu in the actions column.
- Select Duplicate Form.
- A copy appears with "(Copy)" added to the name.
- The duplicate starts as Draft status.
What gets copied
- All form fields and sections
- Field settings (labels, validation, options)
- Form styling and branding
- Basic form settings
What doesn't copy
- Form responses/submissions
- View and response statistics
- Published status (always starts as Draft)
After duplicating
- Click the duplicate to open it.
- Change the Form Name and URL Slug.
- Modify fields and styling as needed.
- Preview to test changes.
- Publish when ready.
Tips
- Rename duplicates immediately to avoid confusion.
- Consider creating template forms specifically for duplication.
- Test duplicate forms before publishing to ensure functionality.
