Setting Up Integrations

Summary: Connect growlio with your favorite tools to streamline workflows and sync data across platforms.

Overview

Integrations extend growlio's capabilities by connecting it with tools you already use. By setting up integrations, you can sync calendar events, automate email communications, process payments, and eliminate manual data entry. This guide walks you through available integrations and how to configure them for maximum productivity.

Prerequisites

  • Administrator or Owner role in your organization
  • Active accounts with services you want to integrate
  • API keys or credentials for third-party services (if required)

How to Set Up Integrations

Step 1: Access Integration Settings

Navigate to your organization settings by clicking on your organization name, then selecting "Settings". Click on the "Integrations" tab in the left sidebar to view available connections.

Tip: Review the permissions carefully. growlio only requests access necessary for integration functionality.

Step 5: Configure Integration Settings

After authorization, customize how the integration works. Set sync preferences, choose which data to share, and configure automation rules based on your workflow needs.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Set up calendar sync first to avoid double-booking and schedule conflicts
  • Test each integration thoroughly before relying on it for client work
  • Configure email integration to maintain consistent branding
  • Enable payment processing early if you send invoices through growlio
  • Review integration permissions periodically for security
  • Document which team members use each integration
  • Create backup plans if an integration temporarily fails
  • Monitor integration usage through the dashboard
  • Disable integrations you're not actively using
  • Update integration credentials when you change passwords on connected services

Troubleshooting

Issue: Authorization fails when connecting service

Solution: Ensure you're using the correct account credentials. Verify pop-ups aren't blocked in your browser. Clear browser cache and try again. Check if the service is experiencing downtime.

Issue: Calendar events not syncing

Solution: Verify calendar sync is enabled in both growlio and your calendar service. Check that you selected the correct calendars to sync. Allow up to 15 minutes for initial sync to complete.

Issue: Can't see integration settings

Solution: Only Administrators and Owners can access integration settings. Contact your organization owner to request the appropriate role or to configure integrations on your behalf.

Issue: Payment integration not working

Solution: Confirm API keys are entered correctly (including secret keys). Verify your payment processor account is fully activated and not in test mode. Check webhook URLs are configured properly.

Issue: Integration disconnects randomly

Solution: Reauthorize the integration in settings. Some services require periodic reauthorization for security. Check if you changed passwords on the connected service, which may break the connection.
