Tip: Break down large projects into multiple service items for transparency and easier comparison.

Step 7: Configure Quantity (If Applicable)

For services billed by unit (hours, licenses, items), set the quantity. growlio calculates the total automatically by multiplying price × quantity.

Step 8: Add Multiple Service Items

Repeat steps 3-7 to add all services included in your proposal. Build a complete picture of everything you'll provide to the client.

Step 9: Create Service Packages (Optional)

If you offer tiered options (Basic, Professional, Enterprise), create separate service packages. Clients can choose the package that fits their needs and budget.

Tip: Packages help clients self-select the right solution and often increase average deal size.

Step 10: Configure Payment Terms

Below the services section, set payment terms: full payment upfront, installments, milestone-based, or recurring. Specify due dates and amounts for each payment.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Can't add more service items

Solution: Check if you've reached a plan limit on proposal line items. Remove unnecessary items or upgrade your plan. Ensure you're clicking the correct "Add Service" button for new items.

Issue: Pricing calculations seem wrong

Solution: Verify quantity and price values for each service. Check if taxes or discounts are applied correctly. Ensure currency format matches your settings. Refresh the page and recalculate.

Issue: Service descriptions won't save

Solution: Keep descriptions under character limits (usually 1000-2000 characters). Remove special formatting that might cause issues. Save frequently while adding services. Check your internet connection.

Issue: Can't create service packages

Solution: Package options may be available only on higher-tier plans. Check your subscription level. If packages aren't available, create separate proposals for different options instead.

Issue: Totals don't match when proposal is viewed

Solution: Ensure you saved changes after modifying prices. Check that the proposal preview is loading the latest version. Currency conversion issues may occur if viewing in different locales.
