Change a lead's status
Move prospects through stages like New → Contacted → Qualified.
When to update status
- A sales rep reaches out for the first time (set to Contacted).
- A discovery call confirms fit (set to Qualified).
- A proposal is issued or negotiation begins. • Deal closes as Won or is marked Lost.
Table & List views
- Click the ⋮ menu next to a lead.
- Under Change Status, choose the new stage.
- The coloured pill updates immediately.
Kanban board
- Drag the lead card to another column to set the new stage instantly.
Bulk status change?
Not yet—update leads one by one or drag several quickly in Kanban.
Tip
Statuses drive progress bars and pipeline metrics, so keep them current!
