Form builder guide

Master all field types, sections and advanced form building techniques.

Available field types

Text fields:

  • Single Line – names, emails, short answers
  • Multi-line – longer text, comments, descriptions
  • Number – quantities, budgets, numeric data

Selection fields:

  • Yes/No – simple boolean choices with radio buttons
  • Dropdown – single selection from a list of options
  • Checkbox – multiple selections from options

Date & time:

  • Date – date picker for appointments, deadlines
  • Date Time – combined date and time selection

File uploads:

  • Image – photo uploads (JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP)
  • Attachments – PDF document uploads

Adding fields

  1. Click + Add Field in the builder.
  2. Choose a field type from the menu.
  3. Configure the label and settings.
  4. Drag fields to reorder them.

Field settings

For each field you can set:

  • Label – the display name visitors see
  • Required – make the field mandatory
  • Validation – rules for acceptable input
  • Options – choices for dropdown/checkbox fields

Using sections

Sections group related fields under headings:

1. Click + Add Section.

2. Enter a section title.

3. Add fields inside the section.

4. Sections can be reordered by dragging.

Best practices

  • Keep forms short – only ask for essential information.
  • Use clear, descriptive labels.
  • Group related fields in sections.
  • Test forms before publishing.

Field validation

Set validation rules to ensure quality data:

  • Email format checking
  • Minimum/maximum lengths
  • Required field enforcement
