Pricing calculations

Totals update automatically as you add services:

  • Subtotal – sum of all (quantity × rate)
  • Tax – total tax from all items with tax rates
  • Total – subtotal + tax amounts

The Investment section shows these totals prominently in your proposal.

Project timeline

  1. Define project phases to set client expectations:
  2. Click Add Project Phase to create timeline entries.
  3. Fill in for each phase:
    1. Phase Name – e.g., "Discovery & Planning"
    2. Duration – e.g., "2-3 weeks"
    3. Description – what happens in this phase
  4. Use the trash icon to remove unwanted phases.

Best practices

  • Break complex projects into multiple line items
  • Use clear, jargon-free descriptions clients will understand
  • Include tax rates where legally required
  • Add timeline phases to show project flow
