Proposals help you win new business by presenting your services professionally. The proposal builder
includes styling options, line items, timeline phases and terms & conditions.
Steps to create a proposal
- Navigate to Business Development > Proposals.
- Click the blue Add New button.
- Complete the 3-step wizard:
Step 1: Basic Info & Styling
- Proposal Name (Required) – clear, descriptive title
- Introduction (Optional) – executive summary for your proposal
- Client (Required) – select from existing clients or add new
- Creation Date (Required) – when the proposal was created
- Expiry Date (Optional) – proposal validity period
- Accent Color – choose brand colors for visual customization
Step 2: Items & Details
- Add Services – include line items with descriptions and pricing
- Quantities & Rates – specify units and per-unit costs
- Tax Rates – apply percentage-based taxes per item
- Project Timeline – define phases with durations and descriptions
- Notes – additional context for the client
- Terms & Conditions – legal terms and project conditions
Step 3: Review & Send
- Recipient Emails – client email addresses for delivery
- Personal Message (Optional) – custom note with the proposal
- Review Summary – verify all details before sending
- Choose Draft to save for later or Send to deliver immediately.

- Add terms that protect both you and your client
- Preview your proposal before sending to check formatting
